Developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, this practice focuses on the strengthening of the body through controlled movements and core activation, prioritising core strength, posture and muscle balance with a focus on precise movement and control.
At Kokoro, our Pilates classes are taught by either our STOTT qualified instructor, Claire Chambers, or APPI trained Physiotherapist Miranda Mason. Classes are designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. We cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, ensuring each session is tailored to meet individual needs and goals.
The classes are kept small by design as this allows our instructors to focus on each client and work towards addressing specific individual ailments.

CLASSES:
Monday: 9am - 10am (Core Pilates with Miranda Mason)
Pure Pilates focused - perfect for those who want to take it a little slower or are nursing an injury. All fitness abilities welcome.
Wednesday: 1pm - 2pm (Beginner Only with Miranda Mason)
Perfect for those who are new to pilates, those anxious about exercising, those wanting to try something new and mix up their training.
Wednesday: 6pm - 7pm (Beginner Only with Miranda Mason)
Friday: 8am - 8.50am (Pilates Burn with Claire Chambers)
For those that want an all over body work out, and can move easily
Friday: 9am - 10am (Core Pilates with Claire Chambers)
